The Michael and Quirsis Riney Primate Canopy Trails exhibit at the Saint Louis Zoo, which opened in July 2021, is the recipient of several construction industry awards. Waterhout installed the radius boardwalk decking and handrail, the Bodega timbers, FRP grating, and all doors, frames and hardware. The project won a Keystone Award from the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, a Best Practices Award from the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers, and a 2021 Top Projects Award from ENR Midwest.

JEMA’s design for the Journey Church’s new sanctuary is taking shape. The wood glu-lam arches are being erected inside the former Kol Rinah synagogue located in University City, MO. The White Pine glu-lam arches contrast with the curved custom-made walnut pews and altar millwork. The project is scheduled for completion in January, 2018.
